About the IORDA

The International Open Roller Derby Association (IORDA) is a global roller derby association
dedicated to building an inclusive sport that welcomes athletes of all gender identities and
backgrounds.

Building on the legacy of the Men’s Derby Coalition and Men’s Roller Derby Association, we
exist to grow and strengthen roller derby worldwide by fostering community, sharing resources,
supporting our member leagues, and creating equitable opportunities through collaboration,
development, and competition.

We are committed to strengthening competitive gameplay, supporting accessible tournaments
and championships, developing athletes and officials, and creating opportunities for people to
participate, lead, compete, officiate, and skate.
We believe roller derby is strongest when everyone has a place within it.

Together, we are setting an example for the next generation of athletes and officials while
shaping a safer, more connected, inclusive, and global future for roller derby.
